This new clinic focuses on the foundational skill of groundwork. Ground training encompasses the skills that you teach your horse while you are on the ground, not riding. For example, basic groundwork exercise can be leading your horse, standing your horse, using a lung line, or simply applying pressure and release to move the horse. These skills are so foundational to what we do while on their backs. Working with these exercises help you understand the animal more as you see their temperament, abilities and how to effectively use pressure. Groundwork sets the foundation for horsemanship by teaching discipline and trust to both the horse and rider.
